    In October, we visited the magnificent Mayan Ruins at Tulum. The interesting structures from the ancient Mayan world stands high on a cliff and overlooking the ocean. Graceful columns and elegant carvings gave us an appreciation for the architectural achievements of the Maya.

Canberra is Australia's largest inland city and is referred to as the "Bush Capital" because pockets of bushland reserve extend almost to the city center.
