We visited a Dingo while in Australia which is a type of dog and thought to have originated in Asia and having evolved from a subspecies of a Grey Wolf. A theory is that it arrived in Australia around 3,500-4,000 years ago.

    Australia, Canberra

Canberra, the capital of The Commonwealth of Australia, is located 280 km's south and west of Sydney and has a population of 334,000. Canberra is Australia's largest inland city and is referred to as the "Bush Capital" because pockets of bushland reserve extend almost to the city center. The "Australian War Memorial" commemorates the sacrifice of Australian men and women who have served in the war.
