We loved seeing The Koalas while in Melbourne and found out that they are mostly found in the coastal regions of eastern and southern Australia. They feed on Eucalypts Trees, have a slow metabolism and sleep most of the day.

This magical city was my favorite while visiting Australia. I loved the lush parklands, the exciting architecture, the theaters, the trams and the fine restaurants.
Loch Ard Gorge

While driving The Great Ocean Road we stopped at "Loch Ard Gorge", the location of many shipwrecks in Australia's history and the most famous, the wreck of the ship "The Loch Ard".

We were able to see kangaroos and koalas in the wild in "Bushland National Park". A naturalist took us on a guided ecotour and it was a great chance for us to learn about the wildlife and enjoy Australia's wide open spaces.

We took a flight from the city of Sydney to beautiful Melbourne for 3 nights. We ventured from the city to "The Great Ocean Road" and Australia's most spectacular coastal drive just southwest of Victoria. This area is home to 12 Apostles or rock stacks (as shown in the picture), surfing beaches, stunning scenery, waterfalls and rainforests.
