While we were in Puerto Vallarta in May of 2009 and a stay at The beautiful Riu Palace Pacifico Resort, we visited The Riu Jalisco Resort which was just a short walk down the beach. This resort offers 5 restaurants, 5 bars, 2 swimming pools, a spa and a mini-club for children. Located on Flamingo's Beach, it is a Moorish-style and white Mediterranean Palace with walkways and gardens.

We stayed at the beautiful Riu Palace Pacifico Resort in May 2009 and we loved this resort for the great food in the 5 gourmet restaurants, 5 bars, the incredible ocean views and the white sand of Flamingo's Beach. Our Ocean View Junior Suite offered us a marble bathroom, king bed, a stocked mini-bar, a livingroom area and a huge balcony overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The service was the very best and they made us feel like we were "special" guests at all times. The photo above is of the beautiful lobby area.

While in Puerto Vallarta in May 2009 we stayed at The Riu Palace Pacifico but visited the Riu Vallarta Resort located just a 20 minute walk down the beach. This is a great resort and also offers an all-inclusive package meaning all the meals, drinks including liquors, snacks, round-trip airport transfers, nightly entertainment and non-motorized watersports are included in one package price.

This lovely resort offers 5 restaurants, five bars, a pool and a swim-up bar and a sports bar, tennis courts, daily activities, a spa (fee), and a mini-club for children with a playground. Besides rooms with 2 double beds there are also ocean view junior suites with a living room area and a balcony or a terrace.

When we checked in at "The Riu Palace Pacifico Resort" in July 2009 we were upgraded to an Ocean View Junior Suite which had a large marble bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub, a king bed and a living room area along with a large balcony overlooking the Pacific ocean and Flamingo's Beach. Our suite also had a safe and a mini-bar which was stocked with our favorite liquors and bottled water. This was our most "memorable" vacation and mostly due to the beautiful accommodations, excellent service and the 5 goumet restaurants at this incredible resort.

We stayed at the elegant "Riu Palace Pacifico Resort" July 10th-14th, 2009 which offered us breathtaking ocean views and it also fronts a white sand beach. This resort opened in October 2008 and offers all luxurious junior suites with a living room area, a marble bath and Jacuzzi, a stocked mini-bar and a balcony with sweeping views of the ocean. We loved the 5 gourmet restaurants along with 5 bars where we could just relax and enjoy the music and we also loved the daily and live nightly entertainment. All our meals, snacks and drinks along with premium liquors and non-motorized water sports were included in our package.
